Why a sketch
It is hard to explain in words: «the house on the left, the road goes right and up, the tree is closer to the viewer, the sun is behind the house». A sketch shows it at once. The model takes composition and shapes from the drawing, and style, materials and light from the prompt.
How to draw
- Simple shapes: circles, rectangles, lines.
- Labels: «house», «lake», «tree», if the shape is not obvious.
- Only the essentials: the placement of large objects, no small details.
- Clear lines: a dark pencil or marker on white paper.
- Photo from above, without shadows or skew.

If it did not work
- The model changed the placement: repeat «keep the composition exactly as in the sketch» and label the objects on the drawing.
- It looks too much like a drawing: add «photorealistic» or «remove all sketch lines».
- Details of the child’s drawing were lost: list them in the prompt: «three eyes, purple spots, one horn».
