Why exactly 30 seconds
30 seconds is the standard for feed ads, product presentations and short stories. Previously no model could make such a clip in one go, and it was assembled from pieces. With the release of Seedance 2.5 there is a choice: pay for one continuous take or stitch the clip from short segments of another model.
Table: 30 seconds at 1080p with sound
KADR prices, October 2026, rubles at the base token pack:
| Model | How we get 30 seconds | Cuts | Tokens | Rubles |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Lite | 4 clips of 8 s | 3 | 284 | ~449 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | 4 clips of 8 s | 3 | 424 | ~670 |
| Kling v3 | 5 clips of 6 s | 4 | 530 | ~838 |
| Veo 3.1 | 4 clips of 8 s | 3 | 1408 | ~2226 |
| Seedance 2.0 | 2 clips of 15 s | 1 | 1808 | ~2858 |
| Seedance 2.5 | 1 clip of 30 s | 0 | 2683 | ~4242 |
This is not a public offer. With Veo, 4 clips of 8 seconds give 32 seconds; the extra is trimmed in editing. Kling v3 can also do 15 seconds at once; in the table it is counted as 6-second clips.
If 1080p is not essential, Seedance 2.5 becomes more affordable: 30 seconds at 720p cost about 1700 rubles, at 480p about 794 rubles.
What you get for the price difference
Seedance 2.5: one take
Pros: not a single cut, the scene develops continuously, as if shot in one take. Up to 50 references: several heroes stay themselves throughout the clip. Sound included in the price.
Cons: the most expensive option. A failed second in the middle of the clip spoils all 30, unless the platform supports targeted editing of a fragment.
Seedance 2.0: two halves
Pros: one cut, holds a character well from a reference, one and a half times cheaper than 2.5.
Cons: at the join the light or pose may change slightly. The fix is the «last frame of the first clip becomes the first frame of the second» technique.
Kling v3: the best value among the flagships
Pros: realistic people and facial expressions, good camera movement. 30 seconds are 5 times cheaper than on Seedance 2.5. More relaxed about photos of real people.
Cons: the clip has to be assembled from pieces, which means you need a script with separate shots.
Veo 3.1: detail and sound
Pros: the best light and texture, native sound. Lite and Fast are very affordable.
Cons: at most 8 seconds at a time, so the most cuts. The senior Veo 3.1 costs 2.7 times more than Kling.
How to choose
- You need one continuous shot (a hero moving through several locations, a scene without editing) → Seedance 2.5.
- A clip with people, edited, budget matters → Kling v3.
- A story with one hero, one cut is acceptable → Seedance 2.0.
- A product, texture, light, many short shots → Veo 3.1 Fast or Lite.
- A script draft → Seedance 2.5 at 480p or Veo 3.1 Lite.
A cut is not always a drawback. Most ads and Reels are edited from short shots of 2 to 5 seconds anyway. If your clip is edited, there is no point in paying for a continuous take. How to split a clip into scenes: AI product ad video.
With attempts included
The real budget is bigger than the table: a scene with a person rarely works on the first try. On Seedance 2.5 one failed attempt costs 4242 rubles. With models where the clip is assembled from pieces, you regenerate only the failed piece, not the whole thing. That is one more argument for working out the script on a cheap model or at 480p first.

In short
30 seconds at 1080p with sound cost from 449 rubles (Veo 3.1 Lite) to 4242 rubles (Seedance 2.5). Seedance 2.5 is the only one that makes them in one take, and you pay 5 times more for that than for Kling v3. If the clip is edited anyway, Kling or Veo is better value. If you need one continuous scene or many heroes from references, Seedance 2.5 is worth the money.
