How to create a marketplace product image with AI: infographics with readable text

Alen founder of KADR Updated 2026-10-22 5 min read

In 2026 a marketplace product image with infographics can be made entirely with AI, text included. Until recently models broke Cyrillic, and captions had to be added in an editor. Google's Nano Banana Pro became the first model that reliably writes readable Russian text: headlines, benefits, callouts to product details. One image at 2K costs about 25 rubles, at 4K about 44 rubles (KADR data, October 2026). Below we look at what a selling infographic is made of, how to write the prompt and what to check before uploading.

What changed in 2026

The main problem with AI infographics was the text. Models drew letters as a pattern: it looked like Russian but could not be read. So everyone gave the same advice: generate the image without captions and add the text in Photoshop or Canva.

With Nano Banana Pro that rule is outdated. The model reliably writes readable Cyrillic: headlines, lists of benefits, captions with arrows pointing to product details. Now infographics can be assembled in a single generation.

One caveat remains: decorative and handwritten fonts, very small text and long paragraphs can still break. For a marketplace that is no problem, since you need a large simple font there anyway.

What a selling image is made of

Marketplace infographics are not decoration but answers to the buyer’s questions before they ask them.

  • The product, large. The main object, 50 to 70% of the area.
  • A headline. What it is and the main benefit: «Travel mug 450 ml, keeps drinks hot for 8 hours».
  • 3 to 5 benefits. 2 to 4 words each, with icons: «Leak-proof», «Dishwasher safe».
  • Numbers. Dimensions, volume, weight, material. What people look for in the specs.
  • Background. Clean, in brand colours, not competing with the product.

A card usually gets a series: a cover, benefits, dimensions with a diagram, material in close-up, what is in the box, the product in use.

Which model to choose

Task Model Price on KADR
Infographics with Russian text Nano Banana Pro, 2K ~25 rubles
The same at maximum quality Nano Banana Pro, 4K ~44 rubles
Quick background change without text Nano Banana 2 ~13 rubles
Cheap background or interior without text Flux.2 Pro ~6 rubles
Icons and graphics in one style Recraft v4.1 Pro ~38 rubles

This is not a public offer. Prices for October 2026.

A working combination: first pick the background and composition with a cheap model, then add the text and infographic elements on Nano Banana Pro. More about the model: Nano Banana Pro review.

How to write the prompt

An infographic prompt is built from four blocks:

  1. The product: «Use the product from the photo, keep it unchanged».
  2. Composition: where the product goes, where the text goes. «Product on the right, text block on the left».
  3. The text word for word, in quotation marks: the headline and every benefit.
  4. Style: background, colours, font. «Clean light beige background, bold sans-serif font, dark text, minimal icons».

A complete example:

Use the product from the photo unchanged. Product on the right, large. On the left, the headline «Travel mug 450 ml» and three points with icons: «Keeps hot for 8 hours», «Leak-proof», «Dishwasher safe». Light beige background, bold sans-serif font, dark grey text, minimalist icons. 3:4 format.

Write the text word for word and in quotation marks. That way the model understands it is a caption, not a description. The quoted text can be in Russian even if the rest of the prompt is in English. General rules for describing images are in the article on generating photos from a text description.

KADR has a «Marketplace images» mode for this: you upload a photo and write the benefits, and the service assembles the prompt and settings itself. If you prefer to write the prompt by hand, the «Improve» button will refine it and suggest a model.

Checklist before uploading

  • Every word and digit. The model may skip a letter or change a digit. A mistake in a size means a return.
  • The product has not changed. Colour, shape, logo, number of parts.
  • It reads on a phone. Shrink the image to smartphone screen size: if the text is unreadable, it is too small.
  • No promises you cannot back up. «Bestseller», «No. 1 in Russia», «healing effect» without grounds break platform rules and advertising law.
  • Aspect ratio per the platform’s requirements. Set the format before generation, do not crop the finished image.

What a set for one card costs

A series of 6 images on Nano Banana Pro at 2K: 6 × 25 = about 150 rubles. With a margin for regenerations (×2), about 300 rubles. For comparison, an infographics designer usually charges several times more for a single card.

Product photos, backgrounds, interiors and clothing on a model are covered in detail in the article on product cards with AI, and video in a card in the article on product video with AI.

For sales: banners for 11.11 and Black Friday.

In short

In 2026 marketplace infographics can be made entirely with AI, text included: Nano Banana Pro writes Cyrillic readably. Take the product only from a real photo, write the text in the prompt word for word and in quotation marks, and keep the font large and simple. Before uploading, check every digit and letter.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI writes Russian text on an image?
Google's Nano Banana Pro handles Cyrillic best: headlines and short captions come out readable. Basic versions and most other models write Russian text noticeably worse. Complex decorative fonts can still get distorted.
How much does AI marketplace infographics cost?
On KADR an image on Nano Banana Pro costs 16 tokens at 2K (about 25 rubles) and 28 tokens at 4K (about 44 rubles), October 2026. A set of 5 to 8 images for a card comes to 125 to 355 rubles without regenerations.
Can I generate the product for the infographic?
No. The product must come from a real photo, otherwise the model will draw a similar but different item. AI changes the background and adds text, icons and diagrams around your product.
What text should go on the infographic?
Short and large: 3 to 5 benefits of 2 to 4 words each, size, material, contents. Buyers look on a phone, where long phrases are unreadable.
Do I need to check the text after generation?
Absolutely. Even the best models sometimes skip or mix up a letter. Check every word and digit, especially sizes and specs: a mistake in a number is a direct road to returns.
What if the model distorted the text?
Shorten the caption, drop the decorative font and ask for a simple bold sans-serif. If a particular word will not come out, regenerate just that part or add the text in an editor.
