The workflow
- Frame: Ded Moroz in a fairy-tale setting, Nano Banana Pro.
- Video with speech: bring the frame to life in Veo 3.1 Fast or Kling v3, a line with the name. For a clean Russian voice: voiceover in the «Audio» tab plus Seedance, or OmniHuman 1.5.
- Editing: 2 or 3 scenes, music, a title card with the name.
Step 1. The look of Ded Moroz
Model: Nano Banana Pro, 2K, 16:9 for a screen or 9:16 for a phone.
Scene 1, fairy-tale house:

To keep Ded Moroz the same in every scene, upload the first image as a reference in the following generations: character consistency.
Step 2. Video with speech
Model: Veo 3.1 Fast or Kling v3, the frame from step 1 is uploaded as the first frame, 6 seconds, with sound.
Greeting:
Ded Moroz looks into the camera, smiles warmly and says in Russian: «Здравствуй, Маша! С наступающим Новым годом!». Fire crackles in the fireplace, slow push in. Soft festive music in the background.
(The line means «Hello, Masha! Happy coming New Year!».)
Praise:
Ded Moroz opens the book of letters, looks up at the camera and says in Russian: «Я знаю, что ты весь год старалась». Candle light, static camera.
(«I know you have tried hard all year».)
Promise of a gift:
Ded Moroz pats the sack of gifts and says in Russian: «Твой подарок уже в пути!». Snow sparkles, horses snort softly. Slow pull back.
(«Your gift is already on its way!».)
Speech tips:
- one short line per scene, 4 to 8 words;
- the name at the start of the line sounds more natural;
- add a detail from the child’s life: «ты научилась кататься на коньках» (you learned to ice-skate);
- if the speech comes out unclear, regenerate the scene or shorten the line.
If you need a clean Russian voice. Video models speak Russian with an accent. For a short «Здравствуй, Маша!» that is acceptable, but there are two ways to get a better voice:
- Voiceover plus Seedance. Voice the lines in the «Audio» tab (ElevenLabs; you can create a voice from a description: a deep, kind voice of an elderly man) and press «Attach to video»: the voiceover goes into Seedance («Standard» mode) as an audio reference, and you add the Ded Moroz frame as a photo reference. The lips will move in time. Voicing a short line costs from 5 tokens (about 8 rubles) on Flash v2.5. You can also record the lines yourself: your own voice recording in Seedance 2.5 gives your voice without an accent. A 6-second scene on Seedance 2.5 in 720p is about 341 rubles.
- OmniHuman 1.5. Upload the Ded Moroz frame and audio from 2 to 30 seconds long: Ded Moroz will speak to this track, with facial expressions and gestures, and the line can be longer. 720p, 10 seconds about 308 rubles.

Step 3. Editing
- Join the 2 or 3 scenes in a video editor.
- Add quiet New Year music with a commercially free licence, or use the sound from the generation.
- Add a title card at the start: «Персональное поздравление для Маши» (A personal greeting for Masha).
- Length 15 to 25 seconds: that is enough for children.
What not to do
- Do not upload photos of children: models strictly filter such requests.
- Do not copy characters from cartoons and ads: only the classic Ded Moroz.
- Do not promise a specific gift in the clip unless you are sure it will be there.
