The main rule
For menus and delivery, take the dish from a real photo. The AI changes everything around it (background, tableware, light, presentation), but not the dish itself. Otherwise guests order one thing and get another: a different portion, different ingredients, a different colour. That means bad reviews, refunds and complaints about misleading advertising.
From scratch is fine for anything that does not promise a specific dish: atmospheric pictures, banners, backgrounds, mood posts.
How to shoot the source photo
- Daylight by a window, no flash.
- From above or at a 45-degree angle.
- The whole dish in the frame, clean tableware.
- No extra objects around.
A phone is enough, the AI will finish the presentation.

Cheese:
A hand lifts a slice of pizza, cheese stretches slowly, slow motion, warm light.
Veo 3.1 Lite or Fast for atmosphere and detail. Switch sound off if the clip is for a menu or a delivery storefront: it is cheaper that way.
